I ordered some Hitachi tools fram the Amazon website and now, more than one month later, the fate of my purchase is yet to be resolved. Tohe goods got shipped to the wrong location and after that it has all been silent. I contacted TimberTools to investigate and they promised me they'd get back to me, but nothing has happened. Now one might excuse Amazon and say that they don't control other suppliers, but the same thing happened to me last time I ordered from Amazon, but then it was some books, their core product, that they never managed to send. It seems to me that for a company with a global claim, satisfying customers in western European countries such as Norway, with a well functioning postal service and a ton of other providers of delivery services, getting the order to the customer more or less on time, would be a given.
