Bosch makes a solid product foreal. Both of these machines feel dense at first touch and when run, they feel no less tightly built and balanced as if all the air bubbles had been shaken out in their construction. Really diesel gear. The down side of this cadillac kit is weight: they're heavy. The impact driver is a lot lighter than the the hammer drill, and you'll be using it for all screw-driving tasking, so the weight issue reasons itself out here. You'll be using the hammer drill/driver for heavier tasks, and for that you want power, something that this machine really brings to the table; the added weight comes with the power. I used the hammer drill/driver with a steel brush bit to prep a rusted metal frame for painting; I ran it for a little over 30 minutes continuous without the battery waning power until the very end when it just stopped. I recommend this product to anyone who wants quality that will last a very long time. A classic kit. The bag however is not the one pictured, though.
